6,526 of these vehicles were produced, and though quite costly to maintain, they are very collectible today. This car does have very minimal rust accumulated within the years, easily repairable. Hood and fender do show 2 spots. The paint is not shiny, interior needs some upholstery work, and little things here and there, it’s not perfect by any means, but would be a wonderful restoration project.

We’ve also done some recent work on the car including a valve cover gasket, oil change, transmission service, tie-rods, steering shock, and drag links. All replaced with brand new original MBZ parts.

The cleanest 240D I have ever seen. This car is absolutely perfect, everything but the AC (cold air doesn’t work)! No leather wear, chrome in perfect condition, not a single crack in the dash, even the engine bay is spotless, all with beautiful shiny paint and original matching hub caps. 230K miles, manual 4 speed transmission, mechanically & cosmetically near perfect!! W115 body. Cosmetically & mechanically almost perfect! Some minor cracks on the dash (2 or 3, very discrete). It is pretty much all original with factory air (does not work) and the original Becker AM/FM Radio which does work fine. Exterior is close to flawless, the paint is not shiny, and it has 1 or 2 minor dings, however it has no major rust and is solid. Engine runs excellent, starts all winter long no problem. Mechanically this car is in great shape with no play in the wheel or such issues. Odometer shows “06748″, in reality it has 106,748 miles, as Vaco would say, “this car is barely broken in!” Would make a wonderful daily driver and it’s a 35 year old classic! Original owner was a lady who traveled 20 miles to and 20 miles from work everyday. 119K of mostly highway miles, very well taken care of, services are up to date. Exterior is mostly good except for the hood having a quarter size of a paint spot, rest of the body has maybe 3 or 4 litttle dings/scratches. The rear bumper has some scrapes on it, but it will be re-painted before selling for no additional cost!
